1. Where are you located?
We are located in California, USA
2. Do you offer local services?
Yes! We offer local services within Southern California and if you are able to drive to us. We also offer Service to drive to you to remove and reinstall your ECU for an additional cost.
3. Do you offer mail-in services?
Yes! We offer mail-in services if you are not local or unable to visit us.
4. Do you offer this service for shops, tuners or distributors?
Yes! We offer a Wholesale Discount to all Shops, Tuners or Distributors and are happy to help you out. Please reach out to us directly and we can discuss our discount for Wholesale accounts. We already work with many local Shops and Tuners within California locally, and many others within the USA.
5. How do mail-in services work?
We provide a label for you to mail your ECU in to our facility. We will provide all instructions within the order email in detail - but the idea is as follows. You remove the ECU from your vehicle, package it safely, and attach the provided label. Once the ECU is dropped off to the carrier and arrives safely at our facility. We will start working on the ECU immediately to complete the process.
6. How long does the process take for my ECU unlock?
This depends on what exact type of ECU you have. If you have a Bosch MG1/MD1 ECU in your vehicle then generally time frame is as follows for the two types:
1) ECU production date June 2020 or earlier
This ECU type is processed within the same day. For local services this will take about 30 minutes to complete. For mail-in services this will be completed the same day ECU is received by us - and the ECU will be mailed back out the same day. Transit times will depend on location and shipping method used. We do offer expedited Next Day Air services to receive your ECU back quickly after completion of the ECU Unlock for the fastest method to get back on the road.
2) ECU production date June 2020 or later
For newer ECU production dates unfortunately the process does take longer to complete. It generally takes 6-7 business days once we have your ECU within our hands.
